Toronto HPB Faculty, Dr. Steven Gallinger, is one of thirteen world-class UHN scientists recognized in Clarivate’s list of Highly Cited Researchers for 2020: influential researchers with multiple highly cited publications that rank in the top one percent by citations for their field and year of publication in the Web of Science.
Dr. Gallinger is an HPB Surgical Oncologist and member of the GI Site Cancer Program at the University Health Network, a Professor at the University of Toronto and a Clinician Scientist with the Cancer Clinical Research Unit (CCRU) at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. He is also the PI of the Ontario Pancreas Cancer Study, a member of the NIH funded Pancreas Cancer Genetic Epidemiology consortium, which is now integrated with the International Cancer Genome Consortium at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, where he is Head of the Translational Research Initiative in pancreas cancer, termed PanCuRx.
